Natalie Rivera

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Natalie’s passion for volleyball began at 5-years old, playing as a setter for Colegio Bautista de Carolina. Her dedication to the sport led her to compete in Puerto Rico’s volleyball league, where she was part of the first team to travel to the USA to compete at the AAU Nationals.  At age 12, Natalie moved to Brevard County, Florida, where she continued playing through her school journey and with Cape Coast Volleyball Club. It was at Cape Coast that, under Coach Connie’s mentorship, her love for the sport deepened. Inspired to give back, Natalie began helping her younger sister and her team learn the game, rekindling her passion for coaching.  In 2023, Natalie officially joined Cape Coast as a coach, working with players from our little kids STAR program and10U through 14U, with a mission to help every player find joy in the game. Natalie’s daughter plays for Cape Coast in our 10U team, she gets to experience the coach life and volleyball mom. Beyond the court, she supports Cape Coast’s open gyms, office operations, and Athletic Development Program.
