Madison Sappia

Coach Madi Sappia has been involved in competitive volleyball for over a decade as both a player, coach, and official. Coach Madi began her club volleyball career with Ocean Breeze Volleyball in 2014 before continuing her development with Palm Beach Juniors Volleyball Club for five years and later competing with Tribe Volleyball Club in 2020. During her high school career at Suncoast High School, she was a four-year varsity volleyball player and served as team captain in 2019 while helping lead the program to four district championships.

Coach Madi competed for the Stevens Institute of Technology Women’s Volleyball Team from 2020 through graduation, where she was a starting libero and team captain. During her collegiate career, Stevens won MAC Freedom Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022 and made three appearances in the NCAA National Tournament. She was also recognized for her leadership and sportsmanship by being named to the All-MAC Conference Sportsmanship Team in both 2021 and 2022.

In addition to her playing career, Coach Madi has built extensive coaching experience at both the club and collegiate levels. She served as the DIGS Volleyball 17 Red Assistant Coach for two years and was the Stevens Institute of Technology Men’s Volleyball Team Student Assistant Coach in 2022. Coach Madi coached with Ocean Bay Volleyball Club during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, serving as the Assistant Coach for the 16 Quicksilver and 17 Quicksilver teams, while also leading the 14 Quicksilver team as Head Coach. In 2023 and 2024, she coached with NYC Juniors Volleyball Club as the Assistant Coach for both the 16 Travel and 18 Travel teams. She later became the Head Coach for Tribe Volleyball Club’s 16 Regional team in 2025 and currently serves as the Assistant Coach for Cape Coast Volleyball Club’s 13 Odin team in 2026. Throughout her coaching career, Coach Madi has focused on athlete development, competitive growth, leadership, and fostering a positive team culture both on and off the court.

Along with coaching, Coach Madi is an experienced volleyball official. She is USAV certified, PAVO line judge certified, and has officiated numerous national championship events. She also regularly referees collegiate volleyball matches throughout Brevard County. Coach Madi graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She currently works as a Civil Engineer with Kimley-Horn and Associates, where she has worked for the past two years.
