Karly Brooks, M.S, CSCS, USAW Level 2, HSSCC, CPR

Karly is a Brevard County native who grew up in Merritt Island, Florida. A lifelong athlete, she competed in both soccer and volleyball before pursuing a collegiate soccer career at North Greenville University in Greenville, South Carolina, where she played four years while discovering her passion for strength and conditioning.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in 2020, Karly began her coaching career as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. During her two years there, she worked with collegiate athletes across many sports while earning her Master’s degree in Exercise Science. She later spent a year coaching at the high school level before returning home to Brevard County with her husband, Jordan, in 2023.

Since returning, Karly has continued investing in the development of young athletes by leading strength training for the indoor and beach volleyball programs at Merritt Island High School.

As Director of Athlete Development at Cape Coast Volleyball Club, Karly oversees the design and implementation of programming. Her mission is to help athletes move better, become stronger, build confidence, and develop the physical and mental tools needed to succeed in sport and beyond sport once it ends.

While Karly is passionate about strength training, she believes the greatest lessons sports teach go far beyond competition. She is committed to developing the whole athlete and strives to help young people understand that their identity is found not in their accomplishments, but in Christ. That conviction continues to shape the way she coaches, leads, and invests in every athlete she serves.
