Eric Murray

Eric is in his 17th year as coach for Cape Coast Volleyball Club.  He has coached several age group levels during all these years with the club including 12, 13, 14, 16 & 17. During the 2009 and 2010 seasons he was the head coach at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School in Indialantic. During the 2010 season he led the team to an undefeated season, becoming the 2010 champions. Eric coached the Cape Coast 12 NIKE team in 2010 which won the USAV FL Region Bid tournament and earned a berth in the Jr. National Volleyball tournament in Reno, NV in the summer of 2010. The team finished 19th in the nation.  Eric has also been coaching at Viera High School since 2010 where he has helped develop a very strong and successful HS volleyball program in Brevard County. The VHS varsity team went to the division 6A state final 4 in 2021 and were the State Runner up in 2022 and  2023.  Eric has been involved with the sport of volleyball for over 40 years.  He grew up in Puerto Rico where he played Varsity in High School winning several high school tournaments and becoming one of the top high school teams in PR. Eric is also helping Cape Coast Volleyball Club athletes in the area of sports conditioning. He is an experienced certified personal trainer with over 20 years of experience helping athletes and non-athletes of all ages and fitness levels to reach their goals safely and effective.
